Jorj and Carolyn, There's been discussion of ETA (one of my holdings) on this thread.: Subject 30511 Scroll back a month or so ago and look for posts by Teflon, a B2B player I greatly respect, who's VERY bullish on ETA.

Tom - I'll look at it in a bit - have to take my daughter to the doctor. In the meantime - here is some food for thought. This is PURE SPECULATION on my part, based on publicly known facts: Today is the unveiling of the Transmeta chip, which, I think, will enable software to run on multiple platforms. Paul Allen is a major investor of the company. Go2Net is already beta testing a wireless portal. Charter and Paul Allen have raised a whole lot of cash recently. Paul Allen's best friend just last week personally got back into the software development business. How to play this? Thoughts? MCOM? All this JMHO.

Tom, re ETA - I hope you know whom you are asking. Poet knows a lot more than I do and she likes it. That said, I looked around and asked myself, "Why?" Who are their competitors? Is this a long term hold? A play for a few days? I'd rather get into EXDS or TMWD (I know, not exactly the same field.) Take a long look at AREM and WPNE; not ready to move, but I kind of like what they do. Not to buy yet, just preserve on the back burner. JMO (which isn't much - gg)
