Just reading a little on the Great Depression. My father told me last October that CNN (think it was) had a special on the 70th anniversary of the Crash, and said that the economic situation of the United States had a lot of problems, like high unemployment, wide disparity between rich and poor, not much buying power except for the rich, etc. I didn't watch it, and so just filed the info away, and have been mulling it over. Wondering what to do with money in my retirement funds, whether it makes sense to buy Raytheon, Lockheed Martin at these levels. Is it likely that we'll have a real BK when the economy is still doing well?
