I've been away from the computer for a few days, so a belated thanks to those who responded to my question about whether NAS storage fits the profile of enabling or applications technology. It's still not clear to me which definition fits NAS, or storage in general, but the replies helped fill in some gaps in NTAP's market.

It also may not matter if NAS is actually a royalty game instead of a gorilla game. I don't remember the manual saying much about the enabling/applications distinction as it relates to royalty games.

Oh well...meanwhile, Rickus123 and I had our first meeting tonight about our Project Hunt assignment (ARM Holdings). I got assigned the financials. I hate that...now I have to learn what financials are. Damn. All you valuation gurus, expect PM's from me soon!
