BEBE flying right before earnings, Manipulators on tiny float waited until one day before to release it. Even yesterday were forcing it down. If history is any guide now their manipulation will be back on the upside. Expect excellent numbers and expansion announcements tomorrow.

ANF is now getting hit down to 52 week low probably by same time of manipulation. I just loaded up more. ANF and BEBE trade very much alike and have similar stellar earnings but ANF earnnigs not until Feb. 15. Very very cheap right now. And dont worry about SEC investigation. More than priced in. IFMX settled with SEC last week and up 25% since.

Thanks guys, I was patient. Even more so on ANF as I did not sell at $33 and had to wait through another whole up-down cycle. This is the bottom. Last week was the bottom on Bebe at 18-19. From here nothing but blue skies (knock on wood)

In the ongoing war between the big players and the small...

CNBC has been making an issue today about the amount of money that's riding on margin now. We saw what happened earlier in the month when the market corrected in just the right amount of time to force sells on margined issues. The media followed up with hype about "really fast corrections." And then everything was back to normal, except for those whose accounts were sold out at the lows of the correction. Ouch.

I see this type of maneuver happening a lot more frequently as long as there are so many investors who are on margin. It gives the brokerages just one more opportunity to take money from the little guy. So GET OFF MARGIN. Don't give the big guys the incentive to take your money especially when the market is looking for direction.

Just my opinion, Julie
