Gustave,

Clinton may have "talked the talk" about how groovy
his administration would be, how ethical, on and on
but when you get right down to it, this has been the
most covert, political, obtuse, and machiavelli foreign
policy of any administration since Teddy Roosevelt.

It would probably behoove Clinton to remember that even
though JFK tried six times to kill Fidel Castro, just
remember who had the last laugh. When a nation uses
covert weapons against other leaders, they often return
the favor. Maddy Albright and Clinton should remember
that while they have a lot of power in this world, they
do not have unlimited power. They will have to live
with the consequences of the seeds they have sewn. They
really have an opportunity to make peace in the world
but if they keep up their cloak and dagger stuff they
might just end up with payback.
