From CBS Market watch moments ago: EDigital EDigital (EDIG: news, msgs) may be on the verge of winning a Nasdaq listing after a big runup in its shares. EDigital makes a music player that automatically plays back downloaded music in a variety of formats: MP3, Dolby's AAC, Lucent's EPAC, and Microsoft's WMA. The stock has soared from about 3 to roughly 10 this month since the Consumer Electronics Show. EDigital Chief Executive Fred Falk said the company expects to meet Nasdaq criteria this year after years as a bulletin board stock. Shares climbed after EDigital said it struck a deal with RioPort to integrate its secure digital audio platform with its Internet music player. EDigital is also licensing its music player design to Korea's Maycom.
