Actually that is very encouraging. HDD, WDC and MXTR all holding their gains well. I am holding my positions, but I think there is still a chance that we will get whacked on the head if the Q reports are not good. Everyone expected Seagate to report a great quarter, but they were kind of disappointing. I wish I knew if that was a Seagate-specific problem (the famous "low end of the high end" bit) or something more general. Of course HDD, MXTR and WDC specialize in the "low end of the high end" range. So if Seagate was working over-time and still couldn't fill the demand, then perhaps the other 3 had good demand also.

The conventional wisdom was that Seg will do best, business wise and stock price. Of course SEG is down 15% since their report, and everyone else is up 30% to 50%.

When does HDD report ? I thought it should be any day now.
