Lane, good response on Perot Systems (PER). The various institutional reports that cover this issue note that it's currently trading at a premium relative to its peer group, and the unfortunate thing for it is that some have the year-end target price pegged at $20 based on the relative valuation bands. Dead money could possibly describe this situation if one subscribes to their analysis.

B2B's have been a little deflated lately, and options expiration is just a few days away, so I'm wondering (if the concept is true) if the specialists will weaken the issue just a tad bit to make those January 20's expire worthless. I'm not an options junkie, and would love to see some of this claimed options-expiration-related weakness happen just for educational value.

The expectation for the upcoming quarter is one that isn't expected to blow out the lights due to the premature termination of a sizable contract (merger-related). Lumpiness in earnings is expected due to the size and timing of these mega-deals. In addition, I thought I recall seeing reports that another lock-up period is going to open up again in February, potentially providing yet another catalyst for more overhead for the stock. I'm not too pleased to see insiders sell at prices lower than the current price either.
