One thing I think is important is the deviation (not the right word, can't think of right word) between stocks that are "performing well," and the rest of the pack. I think about 80% of stocks are below 200 day moving average. I want to look at this more closely, don't know how. Probably someone on the Myth thread or Clown thread knows the answer. Were all the Japanese stocks in bubble or just some, like we have now?

BTW, did you see that Japanese Yahoo is now selling for almost a million dollars a share?

It happened fast- I think if you lived in Japan it would have felt like a crash. And it lasted a longggggg time. Nasty nasty nasty, a time of great social unrest in a country known for a homogenous and non-restive population. All Hell will break out here- that's my guess- because we don't play nice in our society like the Japanese do (by which I mean that they act nice even if they don't feel nice).
