Gary - OK - Nortel sells equipment and software which allow carriers and service providers to provide services like VPN, like Internet Caller ID which is used by MSN on a national basis and Ameritech in the Chicago area, and IP telephony etc. My point is that Nortel is not only a leading company in providing bandwidth equipment, they have a very substantial presence in providing the equipment and software for services. I would not want anybody to infer that Nortel was just a bandwidth company. kep
