Dear taxman:

Thanks for the reference.

"But the company will begin plowing more money into research and development this year and ``earnings per share will grow at a lower rate than revenue in each of the next two quarters,' said John Connors, chief financial officer, in a teleconference with analysts and reporters.

Connors also said that sales and marketing expenses would continue to climb as a percentage of revenues, which also will keep a lid on the growth in earnings. Chief Executive Bill Gates said last week that he would step down as chief in order to help develop a new range of products for the future."

MSFT's huge profits after spending $8 BILLION on W2K
is nothing short of phenomenal!

The extra R&D, and sales & marketing outlays WILL PAY OFF,
BIG TIME!

DO YOU REALLY WANT THEM DOING ANYTHING LESS?
NAUGHT!!!!
