re: . Could TA guys out smart LU's CEO announcement a few days ago?

Thanks one was easy. A big company like LU, the news is out there already before the earnings, in a number of ways, and from a number sources, like suppliers, users, employees, etc etc, so it's priced into the stock, which was very apparent in how the chart looked. I sold my LU that I have held for nearly 2 1/2 years on the first monday in January right before earnings because the way the chart looked. It's the small stocks that are tricky..

QCOM is bouncing on queue right off the 25 day line, near perfect timing and conditions with earnings that have already been reported from others on how strong the cell industry is right now, for a run into earnings.

reading TA movement constantly, making reading this board a drag
I'll agree. I like to see TA reports if they are really indicating a change and not just more of the same. Just like I'd like the San Diego news to tell me if it's going to rain. Otherwise I check askresearch.com periodicly to see if there is a change.

brian...

It has been TA that has led me to be buying here in the 130's-140's. So far, it's working. TA helps you to NOT overpay and to know when it seems the selling is done. But whatever works for you. Good luck.
