OT Yes a Soliton Thread would be a good idea for our periodic forays into the arcane subject. Also if you are interested in my other observations on uses of solitons the last chapter of M Kakau's Introduction to Superstrings and M-Theory is worth a look.I started down this path about 8 months ago when I asked a friend why it is that so much of quantum motion is described by a second order complex variable PDE. Not a good question to ask and astrophysicist.

Regards,
Steve

Netro Corporation Signs Agreement to Expand
the Broadband Wireless Access Network of
Techtel, Argentina

Major Competitive Service Provider in Argentina, Techtel, Will Build-Out a
Nationwide Broadband Wireless Network Based on Netro's AirStar(TM)
Solution

SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Netro Corporation (Nasdaq: NTRO - news), a
market leader in broadband wireless access systems, today announced that it has signed an
agreement with Techtel Argentina, a subsidiary of Techint Group, one of Argentina's largest
industrial holding companies to expand its current AirStar Broadband Wireless Access network.
The agreement follows successful completion of 8 months commercial operation involving
several base stations in Buenos Aires and 5 other cities in Argentina delivering service to
multiple independent subscribers. The AirStar point-to-multipoint technology, also known as
local multipoint distribution systems (LMDS), allows carriers to offer wireless Internet and voice
services to business customers.

''Latin America is an important and fast-growing region. Techtel's unique cost effective,
broadband data access solution will help to fuel the growth of the Argentine economy,'' said
Gideon Ben-Efraim, president and chief executive officer of Netro Corporation. ''Netro's
wireless broadband solution is a key element in building the Internet infrastructure necessary to
secure the future success of Techtel and its customers.''

Techtel will use the AirStar broadband wireless equipment to provide high speed Internet access
and private line services to small and mid-sized business customers in Buenos Aires and other
metropolitan centers that it plans to cover as a part of a nationwide network deployment.
Techtel's broadband wireless access network in Argentina operates in the 10 GHz frequency
band.

''The AirStar wireless broadband access solution from Netro is an attractive option for Techtel
and our business customers, because it ties the cost of capacity directly to demand,'' said
Gustavo Munoz, General Manager of Techtel. ''We can offer our business customers advanced
voice and on-demand data service bundles with higher quality and reliability than anything
currently available in the market today. We have aggressive implementation targets, and our
partnership with Netro has allowed us to move quickly into this important growth market.''
