Pat, let me tell you a sad story: In 1996 when I was getting
into NN I heard of a hot company called Uniphase that
felt that fiberoptics was the future. Interesting. Made
sense.( speed of light etc etc ). I bought some at $33 US.
Held it for about 1 - 2 months, I don't remember. What I do
remember though was that it wasn't moving sort of like
watching the grass grow. When it hit 37 I decided to
take my profits.........

When the market collapsed in 1972 it stayed down for 9 years and that could happen again now.

We could also get assimilated by the Borg, but I don't worry too much about either.
