the airlines suffer from higher fuel costs, and the suffering is about to become more pronounced, as most of them have only hedged their exposure into January this year. the real earnings crunch for them comes in the current quarter. i also agree with the MSFT heretic...every tech company is doing it, just look closely at their balance sheets, where book value and shareholders' equity are continually shrinking in spite of 'record earnings'.

Wonder what the recent ruling in favor of MSFT temps means for MSFTs bottom line? Washington Post had a feature article ~ temps weren't allowed to have stock options, among other things, I assume that's changed.
