Sorry, no opinion on AVXT--I do see that it tripled off the lows off last fall, congrats are in order if you bought some at that time! I guess autologous cancer vaccines are one of the hot spots in biotech right now? I went to ASCO.org just now to see if I could find any abstracts from years past, did not get any hits for Avax, sorry. I think I have seen the stock symbol pop up from time to time, but I'm truly clueless on it. As you know from my previous post, I own GZMO both for the genomics/SAGE angle, but also for cancer therapy-- but I cant say that I understand the science much, well let's be truthful, not at all--my career here on SI has been poaching good ideas off others, what can I say, I liked a GZMO presentation I saw recently, and it was just circumstance that had me missing out on a presentation by Avax (I think it was AVAX, I'll bet I mentioned that fact in a post just a few weeks ago, but I forget now), anyway, avax was in the next room over, so there you are. fyi... I think GZMO does something like this: "cancer immunotherapy using dendritic cells transduced with adenovirus vectors encoding tumor-associated antigens" I know what each word means individually, but I've really no idea the 'impact factor' of the whole sentence <g>. Biotech is hot right now, fine by me--probably no really big news comes out with these companies til the April and May meetings anyway. PS here is the old post techstocks.com heheh, I see I mention those ariaw's in there, what a great gamble those turned out to be! I have sold them all, and yes, I did sell waaay too fast, oh well, can't complain.
