Yes, I was concerned. We're a pretty sophisticated (?) bunch but we also have lurkers about whom we know nothing, and they may be hanging on our every word. TMF preaches to us that we can and should look for targets ahead of the funds, that we should not chase the chart, etc. I don't think Moore even mentions fund purchases, maybe, but I don't recall so. I would certainly rather sell to funds rather than buy from them. In any case, fund ownership or purchases is not a key indicator in my decision process.
It would suprise me if many here feel much differently.

Otoh, I think there's a distinct possibility that we know more about the stocks that make up the G&K universe of investing than the institutions do. This type of focus was cited by Peter Lynch as the best way to beat the money managers, who are tracking hundreds of stocks and have to know a little bit about everything.
