CB, Re: "CNBC's Bob Pissani just highlighted the "disconnect" the last two weeks between semi's and hardware stocks, semi's
vastly outperforming. His point was this disconnect won't last, one has to give: either semi's down or hardware up. Want to
bet it'll be semi's down if anything?

No. Clueless Bob is just looking for something to talk about . The boxmakers, in aggregate, have been in the dumper for quite a while, while the SOXX has been soaring. First Compaq crashed, then Dell sagged, and IBM and HP are also not doing that well in their PC divisions. More key is the fact that semiconductors sell into many more products than just PCs. Phones, networks, telecomm, games, cars, even some toasters have a micro in them.

Bob Pisani is one dude that CNBC ought to find something else to do. Maybe he can assemble watt hour meters for GE.
