I would add that one doesn't need to over-analyze options trades (long or short term).

Tom,

You hit the nail on the head...need to determine what my strategy is here.

I doubt very much I will ever be an in and out option trader...goes against my grain. I'm very confident in my current long positions and will most likely try to understand how I can use options to generate even more wealth in these positions...over the long term. And of course, while minimizing risk.

My initial gut feel is that I may be able to take advantage of LEAPS in a big way...like the longer experation. Since I usually add to my positions in times of panic, I could also take advantage of LEAPs at the same time (...when possibly they are cheaper???)

Anyways, still absorbing...will be months before this stuff becomes seamlessly integrated into my current investing strategy.

Thanks for all the help.
