i have to say that when i first looked at the numbers of the ABOV buy i thought the ABOV shareholders got a raw deal. as a MFNX holder i was estatic. along with this week's deal i see a power house. i am not cheer leading. since i decided to make this my biggest holding last july, i have been trying to find a reason to sell. i just can not come up with one. if i am missing something i would sure appreciate an enlightning opiniom. the most important reason i hold, that is not refered to often , is that we are not as exposed to price competition as a residential based system. we are taking the tough jobs and will be able to hold our revenue level longer just because we are there already, in the blood and guts. we also should look at the advances in the optic community. simply put, every time the capicity of the hardware that runs fiber data doubles. the volumn and value of our presently installed cable doubles, at no expence to us. i respect the challenge of wireless, but i think they will be much more useful in transporting data over long distances. fiber is the only logical answere to the last mile business question. it is the most potentially profitable angle and it is exactly where we are aligned. i don't know if in the long run fiber will back up wireless or vice versa. but i think a company in the near future will need both to have a fully redundant system. MFNX is digging it's heals in at the top of the hill. is seems to be a defensable position. i keep trying to find negatives of this company. i feel incompetant. so far i don't find anything that i can not justify. if you can not show me a negative would you at least give me the address to the closest Betty Ford. oh, and you old ABOV holders, i sure hope you are as happy to be here as we are to have you!!!!!
