that's a pretty good read at this point, but who really knows

I fully agree. Anything can happen tomorrow. It is early days for AOL, just like the market took a whole day last week to decide whether it liked the TWX/AOL merger or not.

At this stage my guess would be that money will flow heavily into IBM/AAPL (+ a rebound in MSFT), out of AOL and the internets.
