Pete, my friend, you are a master of understatement. Up 10 a few minutes ago.

Today was interesting. Although we closed off 3/16,
we saw more buyers come in than we had seen in the
last couple of days and the share price was up for
most of the day as a result... we hit an intraday
high of 36+3/4 (up 2+1/2) and volume was 749,200.

My guess is that most of the profit-takers have
left by now and remaining shareholders are mostly
looking for significantly higher prices. Still,
I don't think we'll get much strong buying until
after the Fed meets and raises rates by 1/4 point.
So I look for another week of little or no price
movement... then I think we'll start moving up.

HIGHLIGHTS:

-- Yesterday, Digital Microwave announced it had received orders valued at $5.5
million from two companies, Unicom and China Mobile in the People's Republic of
China.

-- The orders represent on-going business with China Unicom a long-term
customer of DMIC. Radios in the current order are for GSM network expansion
scheduled for delivery by the end of March.

-- They include both the Altium (155Mbps high capacity) and the Spectrum II
product lines.

- In our opinion, the announcement is significant for DMICs strength in the
expanding Chinese market. With continuing wireless rollouts expected for
Unicom, DMIC is well-positioned to participate in this growth.

- DMIC is a key supplier in the emerging broadband fixed wireless market. We
reiterate our STRONG BUY rating and our 12-month price target of $51 (100x our
FY01 EPS estimate of $0.51).
