grinning guy, Yes they are indeed scattering the enemy troops. Intel seems to be at least a year away from any kind of superiority....if ever. This current almost parity with bad yields will strike deeply inyo the next quarters earnings. Maybe even Dell will go AMD??? If HP, IBM, GTW and every man and his dog(the dog pees on Dell's leg like in a Rodney Dangerfield skit) steal Dell share, then Dell must go into a death spiral, as any earnings stumble will crater their(Dell's) SP, unless they also go Athlon in part.
So Dell will come on board since they are backed into a corner and have no other options. Even deep deep price cuts by Intel will stem the onslaught and not staunch it.
