ALL I CAN SAY IS DONT DO IT AGAIN

After the closing bell yesterday, Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT) reported
fiscal second quarter earnings of 47 cents per share, exceeding Wall
Street estimates of 42 cents per share. Microsoft's revenue grew by
18% compared to the same period one year ago. Despite the better than expected results, shares of the software giant fell 8 5/16 (-7.21%) to 107 today, putting a damper on blue chip stocks, but not enough to prevent the Nasdaq from achieving another record close. Analysts were disappointed that several cents of its earnings numbers were attributed to gains in investments, not sales, and that the company issued a cautionary statement concerning future results, although Microsoft typically provides tepid statements in conjunction with earnings.

I wrote a couple letters to Microsoft about this
