<$$$$$$$$ AMDILLIONAIRE $$$$$$$$

The journey to be an AMDILLIONAIRE (tm XIAO) starts today!

Many of us, two years from now (maybe sooner:-), with millions made in AMD, will no doubt think today is THE milestone in our long march to join Chuck in early retirement land!

AMD has turned around! >

For buy and holders that is.

Earnings and news are going to be extremely volatile for AMD going forward. I don't think Jerry's men can manage the numbers. So, timing AMD may become extremely tough. I know my skillset is not good enough to time this puppy. I will buy some more today and over the next few days and hold until I see the competitive situation becoming tough.

Cngratulations to all AMD longs! The CC was very upbeat. I had three worries before today:

1) The copper process qualification in Dresden was not going well.

2) The Athlon would not be able to compete with Willamette.

3) AMD would have trouble yielding onchip L2 cache on their Thunderbird product.

After the CC, I am confident that Dresend is coming along great, core enhancements to Mustang will make it competitive with Willamette, and Thunderbird is looking good. Together with strong earnings with only 0.8 million Athlons sold, I look forward to being an AMDILLIONAIR!
Congrats to all again.

Pravin.
