Tern seems to be testing the waters for Voice and Other streaming of traditional and IP based content over cable. I find this interesting, although the jurry is still out on the size of the cable delivery of broadband services to the home. Last year with open access issues plaguing ATHM and all the hoopla regarding DSL as the leading tech for the first wave of broadband to the home, it was atest of faith for all cable investors. This year the ATT and AOL momentum should accellerate cable deployment domestically. TERN's DOCSIS 1.0 modem (even if it is not their chip) should do well and some headway will be made for S-CDMA (I hope). The biggest risk that I can see for near term performance (after the shorts are shacken out) is another dilutitive acquisition by TERN to continue to build out their portfolio. If this does happen, it could be a buying opportunity for longer term investors. We live in an age where the real options associated with emerging tech products and service have greater value than any measure of current income.

Good luck
Steve
