Earnings and AH trading:

Advanced Microdevices (AMD) announced earnings of $65 million,
or $0.43per share, on record quarterly revenue in Q4. The consensus
estimate had called for a gain of 15 cents per share. That's 286% above what the Street had forecasted. The stock is trading in after-hours at $45 3/4, up $6 from the close.

Apple Computer (AAPL) reported better-than-expected earnings of $1 per share, a dime better than estimates. Shares are trading $6 higher to $113 1/4, in after hours trading.

America Online (AOL) reported earnings of 9 cents per share, one
cent better than estimates. Membership grew by 1.8 million.
The stock is trading $1 higher, in after hours trading.

IBM (IBM) reported earnings of $1.12 per share versus estimates
of $1.07. Shares are trading $2 higher in after hours trading.
