Chris:

I'm probably being foolish, but I expect that after the analysts have had a bit of time to digest this latest serving of Gerstner garbage, that they will be forced to bring down their estimates. There is no way that they can buy into the positive baloney that the company put out to try to offset those nasty numbers. Or can they? (g)

Chris:

Good commentary, and I concur with it all. The massed herd simply does not give a hoot about fundamentals.

While I have ventured out of my weed patch a tiny bit (Intel and IBM), I'm just as happy that I've been cautious.

It will be interesting to see if that remarkable analysis of the market's liquidity by Trimtabs turns out to be accurate. I went through it fairly carefully and it seems based on solid ground. February is the month for them.

Best, Earlie
