How big were the deals though? i.e Remedy in 60% of the fortune 100. I had the same experience DS. Everywhere I went Remedy was there in the presence of some department had done the implementation on their own. My experience was Remedy was cheap, good and 'everywhere'. But when it came time to try and do something really big and complex then the Remedy went and another product came in. My guess is that Remedy has far and away the biggest installed base number of customers out there. But comparing their sales revenue and net income to Siebel (and Clarify?).. I bet it's not even close. Remedy took the low end market (not very profitable), others took the mid and Siebel and Clarify skimmed off the cream at the top.
