Mr. Ice, A quick question for you:
Please explain your comment: "Look for the short interest to have jumped a lot." You are not alone in thinking this, but it leaves me a bit confused with what others see as obvious. Why wouldn't those shorting also cover their position all the way down the slide? They have obviously been in control for some time, and I would think that they could be working both sides of trades as they trigger margin calls or just capitalize on the capitulations of the frustrated longs. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see little change in the next posted short position even though they have been so busy. When you have time, please explain to me and others.
Thanks in advance, Pat

O/T (not to you personally ice)

Ya know, it peeves me to no end when the late-comers get burned and then have the nerve to bash ANCR. Yeah, yeah, I know. They're bashing ANCR the stock, not ANCR the company. Well folks, as much as many of us have gone through with this stock I don't know why ya'll don't just ignore these posters.

We've seen the volatility countless times, as someone else has already pointed out. We've earned our purple hearts, pinning on our vests a cost basis in the low single digits. I won't apologize for having the forsight and balls to place my bet, while the rest of the world thought we were heading for the graveyard. That is MY reality. The ONLY one that matters to me in fact. That's a lot of posters/lurkers realities. Kinda nice to have that kind of cushion, don'tcha think Gary? ;~) Besides, I'm not inclined to pay Uncle Sam his monies unless absolutely necessary. And now is not absolutely necessary. Every decision has an opportunity cost in this market. So get over it!

Do yourself a favor Gary and step away from the herd. Go right when everyone is turning left. You might just see things from our side for a change...or should I say, "lot's of change!" <vbg>

Buzz <stepping off of soapbox>

You are right, no new investor wants to hear about how people bought in at $1. This stock is a POS right now but the company is not a POS.

I don't disagree and I think this is what I said in my posts....that the stock is currently a POS. SOme folks take this to mean I am not positive on the sector or the company...but the stock has been sucking wind.
