Huei-Sheng Kao,

Per my previous posts, reading Technocrat's posts, reading other sources, and corresponding with engineers from other companies there is no basis to conclude that either switch is superior for the current applications. If you read the CERN and LCSE documents I posted lately looking at Brocade's performance, one obvious reason is that the switches are not stressed by current applications which do not approach their 1Gbps limit. With this test limitation it is likely that there will not be differences noted between products. The other limitation is that the only two public tests are with Brocade's product. While I would like to see Ancor's product tested in a similar but more grand manner, until then we have no clear data.
