That's just it. The execs think that they can "create" a better version of what is available now. If they pursue this they simply "create" a second rate version of what is already a mess. They will chase Yahoo and AOL down the tubes.

What they should understand is that the beauty of what ATHM can be is the framework within which all the creating takes place. One aspect that I didn't mention in the previous post is that in this model as technologies mature and new capabilities are realized the "framework" can be tweaked to incorporate these and the content creation and rendering continues. ATHM by its' very nature remains at the center of what is happening.
