bdog,bruce,

Here is something that looks like a promising event for
the 3dRSI stuff..

1.barssince(cross(linearReg(rsi(3),8),rsi(3))) and
2.barssince(cross(rsi(3),linearReg(rsi(3),8)))

if the difference between 1 and 2 is 1... it implies that
the rsi came down and made a V bottom and then rose..

this gave some good signals for 2 test days in feb.99.
I will be testing it some more in feb and july.

I suspect that horizontal lines also might be used..

very interesting the cross of the 3drsi and a 8 day linear
average..crosses down one day..cross up the next...
the hits in feb 99 were the best i have ran across yet..

for yesterday it produced the following 15 hits
ESI CTAL MAPX SYBS UNS GEN CLSR DCTI GTRC MPP NSTA
HEB UTEK MIR BHE.

12 were up ..3 down...
ESI and CTAL up over 10 percent
BHE was the worse..down 2.76 percent..

most promising...now to think of a nickname of the
scan...the hard part..

back with some hits to follow for tomorrow..
