mrobison@fbw.com outperform report on DMIC had lot of good
industry data too. Considers their Altium line fiber-equivalent high-speed wireless gear for both wireless CLEC
market and 3G mobile backhaul. Sees OC3 going to OC12 and
cites as advantage DMIC Velocity chip set which allows use of 128 QAM (5.6 bits/Herts)over 16 QAM (3/H) that others use. Sees 4 market segments:
1)PTP Transport links (cites how TGNT uses these at lower than 24 GHz too); 2) Broadband Access PMP conections; 3) Mesh networks (aka ARTT/Triton consecutive point; and 4) Mesh networks with PMP access. Ranks domestic W-CLEC holders in terms of MHz Pops (NXLK, WCII, T, ARTT, TGNT, ABIZ, FON, Eclipse/Western Wireless and WCOM and via Coverage POPs (T, ARTT, TGNT, WCII, NXLK, ABIZ, FON, WCOM and Eclipse.

Note FBW count for WCII is only 38 GHz and it appears it would have most MHz Pops if its LMDS counted too. Also, WCII has stated its coverage Pops are over 200 million which
would make it leader too over T which FBW show over 180 million and ARTT just under.

Here's a link to Grubman's report on Nextlink and his target boost to $115:

ragingbull.com

Can anyone point me to a link with Grubman's DCF assumptions for WCII? I'd like to compare them with the new NXLK assumptions and try to figure out why NXLK has triple (at least) the value of WCII.

Puzzled, Brian
