OT.

Amen to that.

I have one uncontrolled crash to my credit (that is, as opposed to all my other landings) and I just concluded my Creator was sending me a message in the clear. "Oh Bill? About the flying?. . . Don't."

My squadron commander said, "this is most unusual.... this conversation we're having. I usually have them with widows." I had just ruined $375,000 of US Government equipment including one Cessna Skymaster O-2A, the tail section of a Bell Huey helicopter and other assorted sundry.
But they kept me on flying status because I wasn't dead yet.

Then I was at ground zero for the tornado in Salt Lake this past summer, where a guy was killed twenty-five feet away, as I huddled under a little table.

I don't actually know if people get nine lives too? But, that is why I flat retired from the fast lane. This information supahiway works just fine for me.
