<<...is a real non-news story. Randfontein...>> For this thread ???

Lets take a vote, or obtain comments from others that a mention of this
was a "non event".

For example, just wondering why a transfer of Harmony's established policy
on their existing sites would be a sure thing ? What if the acquired Randfontein
demonstrated that they had a top notch hedging program, say equal to
and as good as some say Barrick has. Would not that be left in place ?

If so, would that be "unusual" news to you ?
Or would that be a un-non-news story ?
Or, <<...is a [un]real non-news story.>> ?

<<Newmont should have left that one alone.>>

Sounds like you had information prior to their undoing it that would
have identified the future to them, to show a mistake was to be made.
Note, your sentence was not one to identify an event like one would do
to note facts as History, but to scorn those who say "hedging is bad".

a fit is made quite nicely...coming to take me away, ha ha,...
