Is a crash coming? I believe it certainly will come. The market rarely adjusts gradually to reality. But what if it happens in 2003? If one gets into cash now we would miss three fine years of fast growth. What if we had believed in the crash in October 1998? We would have missed 1999, the most profitable year ever for most people. My point is that all we can do is diversify in stocks plus a certain amount of cash depending on our situation. If Softbank goes to 40k I will not be a buyer because all my other stocks will have dropped in half also. I will simply sit tight and watch the market slowly recover as it did in 1937,1958,1974(in Japan after the first oil shock),1987,1991,... At some point the odds favor my portfolio dropping in half. But since I don't know when that will be and I feel confident of a subsequent recovery I don't do anything about it, now or then. Others?

* Question is, should 9984 drop to Yen 40k, any buyers from this thread?

any day

Kai

* Another company that merits attention is a small OTC company, GLOBAL TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS (GTCI), which is planning to take a very aggressive role in building China's communication system. Trading at $2.55 on January 13, it may be a superb entree into China. To my mind, the company is in the right place at the right time. I would pay up to $3.25 a share. This could be a real winner. ÿÿÿ

certainly. 40k is about the range i would love to add to my 9984 holdings.
it's THE company in THE industry of the future with THE most promising business model for the future.

so why bother with 40k?! ;-)

sunny

Buyers for Softbank at 40K

I'm a buyer at 60-70. Maybe higher, if my other stocks start powering up. Definitely.
