Ramsey: Shouldn't you be posting your plea for Maurice's assistance on the the "off topic" thread? <gg> I'm sure he can handle himself.

Good news about Japan delivering 64 kbps wireless internet solutions. QCOM is delivering the MSM3000 to all the big wireless equipment co's in Japan to help kick off the new data service by IDO and DDI in Japan. I recall that Intel was getting ready to start shipping CDMA based mobile notebook computers to IDO and DDI as well.

I agree that to suspend Maurice for what he has written is a travesty. He has been useful and informative on this medium for years. His occasional rants are actually humorous. SI is off base on this matter. It is some of his attackers that should be sent to the penalty box.

I'm a long time lurker and also a long term QCOM shareholder. This is my first post. I've enjoyed and learnt a lot from the old thread regarding the Q's business. Unfortunately that thread has turned into one frequented mostly by momentum and TA players. I have since stopped bookmarking it and so was shocked to hear that Maurice was suspended. His posts are always enjoyable to read, even the OT ones, and never offensive. This prompted me to send a complaint to the webmistress and come out of lurking.

Would like to thank all those who helped in the last 2 years, and to Ramsey for setting up this new thread. And to Maurice, if you're reading this, hope you'll be back soon.
