Everything else being equal, though, it is foolish for individual investors to trade stock after hours.

I gotta disagree...It is just another tool that you can use to get better prices - if you know how to use it properly. My recent ETEK purchase is living proof...I never would have been able to get it at the price I did on the regular exchange...

Dear GV: I probably wouldnt sell afterhours but have missed out on some really great opportunities not being able to buy afterhours. JDN
