Richard, it sure is real, I confirmed the increase on another site. While people play gold for the inflation hedge, silver is out of the chute first, before gold, based on inflation hedging. Hmmmmmmmmm, maybe the tarnish free silver info is doing something? I've been under the impression that information on message boards moves nothing, maybe it does?

Bulk silver deposits are extremely rare on this planet. But after the success of Corner Bay ( BAY ) , it appears that another company from Toronto, Intrepid Minerals ( IAU on the CDNX ) , could confirm a similar discovery.

The company is drilling the Zapote property in El Salvador next week. This program is a follow through on 3 discovery holes drilled last years that averaged intercepts of 50 meters of 9 ounces per ton silver. These intercepts are rather exceptional when you considered that most silver mines work with much smaller widths well below 10 meters.

IAU is still extremely low priced with a market cap of $4 millions.

A story to follow.
