I thought Niles was the analyst who earlier said that Q4/1999 and Q1/2000 would be just treading water for IBM. I don't see anything in the earnings reports that would change that outlook.

mike, I do not believe that many Wall Streeters are not aware of the bear facts IMO they simply want to ignore it because it is bad for business. They want to make sure they get every last dollar before it collapses and they know that easy Al is on their side until the bitter end. Mike

To all, how can I research two old stocks for a friend - the certificates are dated 1970 one is The Talbot Group the other is Concert Network . The transfer agent? Old Colony Trust Company. The names sound kind of shaky but you never know. Thanks Mike
