Hi Jilly,

Nice to see you here today. I've been following the discussion of selling covered calls vs. buying puts very closely and, for me, the advantages of repositioning and not having my shares called away are making me lean toward put-writing as a hedge.

take a look at the example in the cited post. then let me know if you see why i am saying that an investor long the stock, short the call will, at expiration, be in the same position as another investor who sold the put naked.
