Sales OnLine Direct Prepares to Launch Collectibles
Portal

SALES ONLINE DIRECT UPDATE:

WORCESTER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 2000-- Sales OnLine Direct, Inc. (OTC BB:PAID - news), is
providing the following information as an update regarding the company's business and future plans. With extensive expertise in
web site technology, online auctions and the collectibles industry, the Company has spent the last 8 months focusing its
strengths to create a unique suite of Internet applications for the collectible industry.

Soon to be launched, the new site will be positioned as the leading collectibles portal on the Internet including a vast array of
information for collectors and merchants while providing other traditional portal services. During the first quarter of 1999 Sales
OnLine Direct invested time and resources clarifying all requirements, establishing a candidate architecture, and identifying risks
and plans for future development of the portal. In the second quarter, we further developed use case studies on the feasibility of
our design and how collectors and merchants use the Internet. By third quarter, design and programming of the portal began.

The first phase of the portal has gone through beta testing and will launch next week. Phase two and three will follow adding
new components and cutting edge technology not utilized or seen to-date on the Internet. Enhanced features will rollout
continuously through the end of June 2000.

The company's new offices in Maryland have over 3,600 square feet of space and are equipped to hold a development,
support and programming staff of thirty to forty. We have added several new sun servers and a host of other equipment. The
company is confident that the hardware, personnel and facility are equipped to handle the growth.

The portal will have a unique identity for marketing and industry independence. The company has planned an advertising
campaign, which will reach both the retail and financial sectors. To date, Sales OnLine Direct has completed agreements with
two leading web based marketing and advertising firms, which are poised to assist in these efforts as the site launches in each
phase.
