John isn't collecting a basket of stocks pre tornado part of Moore's philosophy? The fun part here is that my basket for SiC, unless I am really missing something, contains only one stock. CREE. Is it a risk. You bet. That is why CREE is still under <1% of my portfolio holdings. If I see solid, tangible proof that another one of their products has come across the chasm and is heading for tornado (say power switches) you had better believe my investment will quickly rise to the 2-4% level. As each new product comes out of SiC.. and there appears to be a real market for it my investment will increase. If this is real though there is a high chance that SiC products could come out in rapid succession. A company/industry you need to keep your eye on.
