SMTF spiked today on a CNBC comment. DITC did a nice AM spike. NSATF too. Even THQI turned north again.

I took some profits off the table. I think all these cos are going to continue to do well, but I'm into a "risk aversion/lock in the profits mode" again.

I'm not doing quite as well as you Steve, but I'm up over 17% for the year so far. My only loss (so far) was CMGI on a quick in/out that didn't go my way. Even there, I used better discipline than in the past where I would try to turn a trade into an investment. Usually didn't work, because I would revert into the classic newbie psychology of getting discouraged and selling just before the turn-around.

That's what looked so obvious to me on DITC. Except this time I was watching from the outside as it dropped then stabilized. Somehow it just looked right. The Yahoo board had its fair share of complainers and short hypsters too. Another good indicator.

Still, there's always the chance to screw up again. I've had lots of practice. <<ggg>>

Gotta get some work done, now.

Jim
