You're reading the wrong material. Fuel cells are based on sound science. Until recently, they were too expensive to be practical for most uses except spacecraft.

There is room for PLUG, Ballard, GLE (Toronto), MHTX, even maybe DCHT.

BTW, I am long PLUG, GLE, and MHTX. I don't dislike Ballard. You can't own 'em all.
