I would agree with your statement (re elimination of corporate taxation), and I disagree ( :-) ) that that view makes you a left wing type (ie tax loss carryforwards become irrelevant in that situation).

In Canada there has been talk (but luckily it never gets off the ground), of eliminating tax loss carryforwards, while simultaneously taxing business at 40%. At that rate, there is no reason to locate a business in such a location as the risk reward shifts such that risk outweighs any benefit.
