o/t WM "environment today vs. Oct 98 crash" ? / NG up -stocks down ? WM went from $28ish as the bottom in the Oct 98 crash to $45 in 2 qtrs - for a 50% move. We are $6 less than that here - and without Long Term Capital, without a total collapse of the Mortage Backed Securties market and all the Intnl worries. This is as much of a no-brainer as I have seen, Gary - nice technical call, stock is getting some buying and has turned a tic, or two finally... To compare being able to buy this stock $6 cheaper today than the Oct 1998 Market Crash is unbelieveable and shows the extent that "Momenteum Mania" has overtaken the market... I like buying the NG E&P's with NG up & shareprices down... adding some core plays today...
