Markets go up.

Markets go down.

The Long Term view has shown that they go UP - net, net - over the long haul.

Getting in and out at frequent intervals is s hit or miss situation - and every time you make an exit, you pay TAXES on any profits - by as much as 40% or more depending on tax brackets, state of residence and Alternative Minimum Tax - which is actually a REQUIRED MAXIMUM TAX.

Holding long term - and leveraging one's assets "judiciously" - is a good way to succeed - assuming one owns the right stocks.

And so far, Intel has been one of the right stocks - for a long time.
