Yes, during one I had to go up to New Jersey, where my sister- in- law was living, against my better judgment, for Christmas. The snow had stopped, and the highways were pretty clear, so I couldn't get out of it, although I was uneasy. Sure enough, after a few days, on the way back, it started snowing heavily. I took 301 below Wilmington, and by the time I had gotten to Kent Island, right across the Bay, I was kind of scared, the roads were so choked with snow. I stopped for pizza to unwind, and by the time we emerged, I had a narrow break in the weather, and scooted home......
